A Night With Neil Diamond at Alexa Park LV

Rob Garrett’s “King of Diamonds” Las Vegas tribute show CONTINUES ON in the “Modern Showrooms Las Vegas” at Alexis Park Resort Hotel.

The legendary Neil Diamond is one of the best-selling and most iconic singer/songwriters in contemporary pop-rock music history.

Besides being one of the top-selling and concert drawing artists ever, he’s also composed the songs of a generation — including some of the most unforgettable songs on the planet.

In early 2018, shortly before his 77th birthday, Neil Diamond stepped away from live performances after being affected by Parkinson’s.

However, Diamond’s concert legacy continues to be preserved for audiences across the globe through longtime Las Vegas performer Rob Garrett, often called “the best of the best”.

Ask Google “who is the best Neil Diamond tribute artist,” and you’ll always hear Rob Garrett.

Like his legendary counterpart, Rob Garrett was born in Brooklyn, NY.

In May 1974, his parents brought him from New York City to Las Vegas, where, two years later, he witnessed his first Neil Diamond concert when Diamond debuted in Las Vegas to record crowds at the Aladdin Hotel’s “Theater for the Performing Arts” in July 1976.

Garrett went on to see him another 16 times across the country—right up until Diamond’s last American show at the Los Angeles Forum on August 12, 2017.

In 1980, Garrett started his own band, “Rock n Roll Heaven,” and enjoyed a decade-and-a-half career in Las Vegas and across the nation before making the move from lead singer of a cover band to a full-time tribute performer dedicated to one of his musical idols.

In 1995, Garrett was personally hired by Paul Revere (of The Raiders) to portray Neil Diamond in the world-famous “Legends in Concert” review.

What was meant to be a short engagement turned into a three-year residency.

By August 1998, Garrett returned home to Las Vegas and continued to perform with “Legends” for another couple of years before deciding to go independent.

He began a nationwide performance schedule, building a strong worldwide fan community along the way—earning the title “King of Diamonds Las Vegas.”

He continues to perform to sold-out venues nationwide, often in venues reserved for national acts.

Garrett has also received multiple accolades, including “Male Tribute Artist of the Year.”

“Since Neil Diamond retired, I’ve felt a strong sense of responsibility to keep Rob Garrett Neil Diamond Tribute Show Las Vegas VIP experience his legacy alive for future generations. It’s something I never get tired of doing,” he said.

On May 19th officially proclaimed the date “Rob Garrett Day,” commemorating Rob’s 50 years as a Las Vegas resident and 44 years as a professional Vegas performer.

Now in this year, Garrett celebrates 45 years on stage in Las Vegas, with the last 30 years devoted solely to paying tribute to the now-retired Neil Diamond.

It has been said that no other tribute artist is so closely identified with the original performer as Garrett, who has appeared at more Vegas stages than any other.

Since the June closing of “A Beautiful Noise” (the Broadway jukebox musical based on Diamond’s life story), Rob Garrett’s “King of Diamonds” show has become the only continuous Neil Diamond tribute in the U.S..

The Alexis Park Resort is located at 375 E. Harmon Ave., just ¼ mile west of Paradise Rd..
